Apostle Patrick Mokwena, a distinguished figure in South Africa, has achieved a significant milestone in his career. He has been appointed as a UN Eminent Peace Ambassador. This prestigious title was bestowed upon him at the conclusion of the annual Feast of Trumpets event held at the Kimberley City Hall.
The award was presented by His Excellency Ambassador Anthony Chinedum, the UN Representative and Director of SADC. This global recognition underscores Apostle Mokwena's unwavering commitment to peace and his contributions to fostering a just and inclusive society.
The UN Eminent Peace Ambassador program is a global initiative dedicated to promoting peace, justice, and equality within the United Nations framework. Members of this esteemed body are individuals who have demonstrated exceptional dedication to peacemaking and humanitarian efforts, particularly for vulnerable groups such as orphans, widows, and the elderly.
As a UN Eminent Peace Ambassador, Apostle Mokwena will play a pivotal role in raising awareness about the United Nations' mission and objectives at local, national, and international levels. He will also be involved in commemorating important UN observances and promoting dialogue and cooperation among diverse communities.

The mission of the church is:
to glorify God;
to proclaim the Kingdom of God by preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ
through the power of the Holy Spirit;
to minister to the needs of the total person;
to develop, equip and release believers into ministry;
to extend the influence of the church beyond its boundaries and
abroad;
to promote the fellowship of the believers and to network ministries.
Therefore the mission of the assembly is:
By the development and establishment of inspired leadership and
management within a dynamic functional structure and actions to –
Develop and strengthen a Christ-centered evangelical character and
stewardship in the assembly;
Take care of the spiritual and temporal needs of the members of the
assembly;
Empower the members, individually and corporately, to use their talents
and calling in the service of the Church of Jesus Christ and in the
community so that people will commit themselves to Jesus Christ and
reach their full life-potential.
