After many months of prayer over the nation of South Africa concerning the prophetic destiny of this nation and its citizens.
We have been praying into the message the Lord has given us for this season and particularly for this generation.
The Prophetic theme for the coming 2 years is based on the season that is unfolding for this generation.
David is the illustration for where we are in this season.
Who is David and what is the Davidic Company?
David is the son born to Jesse, Jesse is born of Obed and Obed is born from the union of Ruth and Boaz. David is the great
grandfather to Jesus, the Messiah.
The House of David comprises of his Sons and Daughters that were born of him, amongst other is Solomon who later built
the temple and Nathan who is great grandfather to Mary, the young woman who were to give birth to the Messiah, Jesus
Christ.
There are certain Characteristics that is true for this generation as it relates to our current season; Our prophetic theme is
outlined in the characteristics of David’s life Journey as a spiritual template for us.
The following outlines the unfolding of this theme:
- The Davidic Company is coming from an obscure and unrecognized place [This company is not recognized by man
because of the “height of their stature”; but God looks at the Heart of this company] – 1 Sam 16:7; 1 Sam 16:12
Many people will be surprised by who God is raising in this season – This company is out in the field doing a meager
work of shepherding. - The Davidic Company is anointed with the HORN OF OIL and the Spirit of the Lord rests upon this company. This
company is anointed for the Kingly Throne. This company is the ruler and carries a governmental authority. - The Davidic Company are great worshippers [Evil spirits departed from Saul when David played the harp – 1 Sam
16:23]
The worship of this company is Davidic - The Davidic Company are a fearless people who confronts and slays the beasts and the giants of their generation.
This company is bold and they carry a strong testimony of the deliverance of the Lord. [1 Sam 17:34 -37] - The Davidic Company uses unconventional instruments of war [1 Sam 17:40]. The Davidic Company that God is
raising will find any common thing and use a common to manifest great victories in this season. The common thing
in the hand of an anointed person will be a weapon of mass destruction. - The Davidic Company bears knowledge that the Battle is the Lord’s. [1 Sam 17:47]
- The Davidic Company has an identity that is connected to a Father [1 Sam 17: 58].
- The Davidic Company behaves in wisdom and have favor with people.
- The Davidic Company enjoys the protection of the hand of the Lord; this company remains safely guarded by the
hand of the Lord even when its enemies throws javelins and spears at them for their demise. They thrive in the
presence of those who wish to kill them. - The Davidic Company have a prophetic protection. When David escaped the house of Saul; he came to Naioth in
Ramah amongst the Prophets who were with Samuel. - The Davidic Company provides shelter and safety for the distressed and discontented. The Cave of Adullam is a place
of refreshing for this company. It’s a place for strategic training and development. A place where this company
matures for purpose. The Cave of Adullam is a natural cleft of safety for the troubled. [1 Sam 22:1-2] - The Davidic Company facilitates and reigns over a united body of Christ
- The Davidic Company are great intercessors, a company that knows the power and significance of fasting and
praying [David and the Men mourned and fasted when they heard Saul and Jonathan was dead. [2 Sam 1:12]
This company acknowledges the anointing of the Lord upon Saul – Saul is a representation of the previous
dispensation; although backslidden but David would not touch or kill Saul even when he had an opportunity to kill
Saul at least 2 times. - The Davidic Company Inquires of the Lord for everything they need to do [David most probably used Abiathar’s
ephod to seek the Lord’s counsel [2 Sam 2:1]
