Ecc 3:1  To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 

When looking at Heaven – There are dimensions

• In Heaven
• Into Heaven
• Towards Heaven
• Above Heaven
• From Heaven
• Unto Heaven
• UNDER HEAVEN

If its under the heavens; there is a purpose for it

If the purpose is not yet known; the time has not come for it. – but that time is coming

Season is attached to Purpose & Purpose is attached to season.

Gen 1:14  And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: 

The way of Nature is to Repeat:

• Summer
• Autumn
• Spring
• Winter

There are certain cycles that will occur in every year

• Season of Sowing
• Season of Harvesting
• A season of Heat
• A Season of Cold
• A Season of Rain

Gen 1:5  And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. 

What are the Cycles in a Day?

• Every day has 4 day watches and 4 Night Watches

Joh 9:4  I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

• What has been happening in the Night?
  • Many Dreams are seen at Night
  • Joseph was anointed to interpret what happens during the night (He decrypts the night activities)
  • Pillar of Fire was for light in Israel – it went before them (Exod 13:21)
  • Thieves come in the night to steal 
  • Demonic Activity happens at night
  • Jesus was betrayed at night  (Matt 26)

• The Midnight Hour
  • Transactional Hour
  • The 2 women in 1 Kings 3:16 The living child was replaced with the dead child at midnight
  • All the firstborns in Egypt were smote at midnight (Exo 12)
  • It is at midnight that the announcement was made that the BrideGroom has arrived (Matt 25)
  • MidNight hour Paul & Silas were praying and praising

The Day:

• Heb 13:8  Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

• 1Th 5:5  Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness.

Jos 10:12  Then spake Joshua to the LORD in the day when the LORD delivered up the Amorites before the children of Israel, and he said in the sight of Israel, Sun, stand thou still upon Gibeon; and thou, Moon, in the valley of Ajalon. 

Jos 10:13  And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day. 

KAIROS TIME

Est 4:14  For if thou altogether holdest thy peace at this time, then shall there enlargement and deliverance arise to the Jews from another place; but thou and thy father’s house shall be destroyed: and who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this? 

• For Esther; Her whole life experiences. The painful life of an orphan young women. The culmination of her life experiences brought her to a KAIROS SEASON – A time such as this. 
• IN our own lifes; we should never discount the experiences we are faced with; because all life derives meaning in time.

Luk 2:8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 

Luk 2:9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. 

Luk 2:10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

• Shepherds where the lowest in the society; they had no contribution in the affairs of the community becoz their profession.
• The shepherds experienced a Kairos moment in that they were the first ones to receive the news of the savior being born.
• Kairos moments radically and completely changes the trajectory of any person’s life – Just like the shepherds; this divine encounter revolutionised their profession in that the Messiah were to become the shepherd of the world.

Luk 1:28  And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. 

• Kairos moments are not depended on your social status; but rather a prerogative of the almighty.
• The appointed time for the birth of the messiah as per prophecy.
• This appointed Kairos; is also the moment where the impossible becomes possible
• The natural comprehension within Kairos moments makes little sense (in the case of Mary she was informed that she would be with a child, and she asked how this would happen seen she has not been with a man)
• When we are located in a divine time space; its important to leverage your faith (Mary agreed to that which the angel had said to her)

Eschatos (the last in time, space or place)  –  LAST DAYS – ESCHATOS HEMERA

Joe 2:28  And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 

Act 2:17  And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 

Rev 1:1  The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

Encouragement for our generation

Rev 12:12  Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. 

• God has appointed a set time for devil. The devil does not have unlimited time on the earth.
• Whatever the devil is busy with in the earth; the Chronograph that measures seconds, minutes and hours is ticking against the works of the devil.
